Op. Dr. Özgür Demirtaş

I was born in 1975 in Gediz, Kütahya as the son of teacher parents. After completing my primary and secondary education in Gediz, I finished my high school education in İzmir Karşıyaka High School. Between the years of 1992-1999, I finished my medical education at EGE UNIVERSITY/FACULTY OF MEDICINE. I am married and have one child.

After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine, between the years of 2000-2005, I completed my General Surgery training along with Organ Transplantation training at IZMIR BOZYAKA EDUCATION AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL and became a General Surgery Specialist.

Between 2006-2007, I did my military service at Elazığ Military Hospital. Between 2007-2008, I completed my obligatory service at Batman/Gerçüş State Hospital. After the obligatory service, I left the civil service and stepped into the private sector.

I worked at Private Çeşme SISSUS HOSPITAL between 2008-2009, in IZMIR BUCA MEDICAL CENTER between 2009-2010, in TURGUTLU PRIVATE EGE UMUT HOSPITAL between 2010-2014, in İzmir/Menemen PRIVATE SADA HOSPITAL between 2014-2016. I left the PRIVATE EGE YASAM HOSPITAL as of 17.04.2017, where I worked since 2016, and continued our duty in our own clinic.

As a member of the Turkish Surgical Association and Metabolic Surgery Association, It is my pleasure to follow all the new developments and take all the necessary training, then I apply them in my field of duty.
